Saw this - thought of your 'femme fatale' - that same theatrical, waxy, 'dead-behind-the-eyes-but-sexy' thing - this is a classic routine from choreographer and director Bob Fosse; he always choreographed his dancers to have this vaguely 'mannequin' aesthetic, with turned in feet and wrists; in this context, the women are all dance-hall prostitutes, but take a look at the statuesque, Klimt-like poses and the strong use of lighting...
