Here's a progress shot.
Im trying to keep it following a certain ruleset. This ruleset being the rule of three :
1 large focal point
1 medium
1 small
The gun being the large, the thights/holsters being the medium, the rest being small. Following this rule really helps with character design. For example a robot with a huge torso, medium legs and small arms and head, etc. It just makes it so that things are fighting for power in the image.

I like the nerd factor though - instantly gives her some appeal; rather like all the 'sexy Velma' drawings on the internet, which take the short, dumpy one from Scooby-Doo and turn her into something more coquettish... Apparently young heterosexual males of a certain age like this sort of thing... tut tut.
